The intricate art of chikankari is the work of embroidery done by hand.
Please bear in mind that minor variations in colour may occur due to the organic nature of this breathable fabric, like cotton, mulchanderi, and linen and the fact that it is artisanal.
The fabric itself is delicate, as the work of chikankari embroidery is done on fine fabric. It has been compared to the "iridescent wings of a dragonfly.
Each piece is originally made in white and then dyed in accordance with the demands of the customer.
